I looked up the "Bart The Fink" highlights after seeing this great tweet from @jamesbont. I could have sworn that at some point someone in this episode says "100 tacos for $100? I'd be a fool not to!" but I can't find it. Anyway, ADHD is a helluva thing!
How good was classic Simpsons? This gag cracked me up once while watching it. Then again after looking it up and finding out that "avoision" is actually a real word! This show was so damn smart without being overly smug or cute about it!
I caught the Dan Castellaneta interview after watching this clip of highlights from "Bart The Fink" from the golden era of Simpsons. THIS SHOW WAS SO GOOD.
I'm surprised there isn't even a Wikipedia page for "Two Lips." I only found out about it cos I randomly caught an old interview with Dan Castellaneta on Conan back in the day! Conan, ever the ideal wingman is the one who reminds audiences to check it out!
It's not just a joke album! The music is catchy and well produced and he puts on his absolute best impression of Paul, John, George & Ringo which he'd already honed on The Simpsons! The weirdest thing about it is how sincerely it delivers on its premise!
TIL that in the year 2000, Dan Castellaneta (the voice of Homer, Krusty, Barney & several other iconic Simpsons characters) released an album called "Two Lips." The concept is that it's a "lost" Beatles album from their Sgt. Pepper era. It's pretty solid!
RT @HokutoAndy: Yes, I can believe Kentaro Miura gave Guts a metal hand without knowing about the late 1400's iron hand Gotz
I just remembered that Anchorman provided us with the perfect allegory for how fandoms argue on the internet
@therealjustlike Oh man I just travelled back in time to my freshman year of college! What a rush of memories!
@RadpunkA NICE! I was actually about to show that for our weekly movie night at work, but today's a holiday over here so it got pushed back. Memories is a CLASSIC! I hope you enjoy it!
I'm proud to have helped Kickstart the 12 minute short that they made as the first step of reviving this project. This is my favorite thing I've ever helped crowdfund!
@RadpunkA Really glad you enjoyed it! It's one of my favs! Super underrated! I hope the upcoming show lives up to the high bar set here! And hell yeah it was an influence on Metal Gear! The creator of Spriggan was hired to do official MGS art!

@arvalis @patrickhwillems It's a comedic supernatural adventure movie. As a kid it's even pretty scary! The film is rooted in Dan Akroid's sincere fascination with the paranormal which he inherited from his family. It was also an attempt to modernize ghost comedies of the past (yes this was a genre!)
